What the consultation covers
A conversation and a look under the lamp, sitting up and fully dressed. It comes before your first facial, and before any peel, dermaplaning or membership.
Your routine
What you use at home, in what order, and what you have stopped using.
Your skin
How it behaves through the day and the month, and what it reacts to.
What you want
What you would like from a visit, and how often you would like to come.
What she sees
She looks under the lamp and tells you what she notes before she touches your skin.
The plan
Together you choose the first facial, or decide to start with something calmer.
A copy for you
What she notes is written down, and you can have a copy to keep.
When to see a dermatologist
We'll suggest a doctor or a dermatologist when
A facial can't do everything, and we would rather say so than keep booking you. We'll suggest a dermatologist, or your doctor, when:
A spot or mole that is changing
One that grows, bleeds or changes color goes to a doctor before any facial.
Skin that is hot, swollen or weeping
We'll ask you to see a doctor, and rebook once your skin is calm.
A rash that is new or spreading
We don't work over it, and we'll suggest who to ask.
A sudden change in your skin
Especially alongside other changes in how you feel, or after starting a new medicine.
Breakouts that sit deep and hurt
They sit below what a facial reaches. We'll say so, and suggest a dermatologist.
Skin that keeps reacting to what we do
We would rather stop and send you to someone who can look than keep booking you.
Book a facial
Choose a time on the booking page, with an esthetician by name or the first opening. Or send a message and we'll reply by text or email.
