Questions

Questions before you book

What happens at a first visit?

You start with a consultation: your routine, what you use and how your skin behaves. Your esthetician looks at your skin under a magnifying lamp and writes down what she notes. The facial follows, planned from what you talked about. The first visit runs 70 minutes.

How do I choose an esthetician?

The team section lists the days, the studio and what each of us is asked for most. Choose by your week or by the visit you want, or book the first opening and meet whoever you get. You can book the same person again, or someone else, any time.

How long does a visit take?

A consultation is 20 minutes. Express facials are 30 minutes, and custom, deep-cleansing, dermaplaning and peel facials are 50. Your first visit, with a consultation and a custom facial, is 70.

Do I need a consultation first?

Yes, once, before your first facial and before any peel or dermaplaning. It is how we learn your skin and your routine. If you come back after a long break, your esthetician starts with a short check-in.

How often should I come?

Many clients come every four weeks, which is also how a membership is set up. Some come every two weeks and some every few months. Your esthetician suggests a pace at your first visit and writes it down.

How does a membership work?

A membership is a facial every four weeks, or an alternating plan every two. It has a term, a pause, a cancellation notice and a refund policy, all written on the membership page. The booking page shows the price before you join.

Can I come in with a breakout?

Yes. Tell your esthetician when you book. She may suggest a calmer visit or another day, and she'll tell you why.

Who should ask a doctor first?

If you are pregnant or might be, use a prescription skin medicine or have a skin condition a doctor is managing, ask your doctor before you book a peel facial, dermaplaning or LED light. Tell us at booking so your esthetician can plan around it.

How does pricing work?

Prices aren't printed on this site. They depend on the service, its length and any add-ons, and they are the same whichever esthetician you book. The booking page shows them when you choose a service, before you confirm.

How do deposits and cancellations work?

A card holds a new client's first visit and any peel facial, and a deposit goes toward your service. Please give 24 hours' notice to move or cancel.
